It is with profound sadness that we have learned the news of the accident that occurred this morning in the city of Boumerdes, east of Algiers, which has resulted in dozens of Algerian Sisters and Brothers deceased and injured, most of them children.
On behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, and on our own behalf, we convey our Sincere Condolences to You and to all the Beloved People of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Our deepest Solidarity and Sympathy to the Families and Loved Ones of those who have passed away and we pray so that they may find Resignation, Strength and Comfort, as well as for the speedy recovery of the Sisters and Brothers who were injured.
