BROTHER AND SISTERHOOD DESPITE SO MANY TRIALS
To the Fraternal Government of the Republic of Panama, to its People whom we have always accompanied in every moment, difficult, convulsive, or victorious, we acknowledge receipt of a Note which objectively harms our principles and values of Sovereignty and National Dignity.
While acknowledging receipt of this Note, which certainly does not represent the values of Non-Interference and Non-Intervention which we have always recognized as our own through the historic bonds of Our American and Caribbean Unity, we reiterate that the Sovereignty of our People is not up for discussion but to be defended with the arguments of our Constitutionality and Jurisprudence.
Nicaragua and Panama, Panama and Nicaragua, will continue our fraternal relations thanks to the Honor and Glory of having fought nobly against all forms of imperialism, intervention and foreign occupation.
We remember the Hero, General Omar Torrijos, and via his patriotic voice we say to you: Respect for the Rights of Peoples is Peace!
