On the occasion of the 215th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the Sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on this patriotic date of July 5th, on behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and on our own behalf, we wish to extend our congratulations to you and to all the Venezuelan people.
215 years ago, the courage of the Venezuelan Patriots broke the chains of the colonial yoke, igniting the libertarian flame that would spread throughout the continent. That heroic deed, led by the Father of the Patriotic Nation, Liberator Simón Bolívar, gave rise to a Sovereign Nation and sowed the seed of the unity of Our America. We remember his prophetic words when he bequeathed to us the dream of a Great Nation, united by the same Ideals of Justice and Freedom.
From the Land of Andrés Castro and our General of Free Men and Women, Augusto C. Sandino, we send a warm embrace and ratify our unwavering commitment to continue strengthening both ourselves as Brother and Sister Peoples and too the Dream of the Great Nation.
