PRESS RELEASE
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity informs the people of Nicaragua and the international community that today it submitted its written statement to the preliminary objections of jurisdiction and admissibility raised by the Federal Republic of Germany in the case before the International Court of Justice concerning Alleged Breaches of Certain International Obligations in respect of the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
Nicaragua's written statement regarding the preliminary objections and admissibility were submitted in a timely manner as required by the Court in its procedural order.
Nicaragua wishes to once again thank all those who worked on the preparation of this written statement, which has been submitted in compliance with Nicaragua's international obligations to take all necessary measures to stop violations of the most fundamental norms of international law against the Palestinian people.
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity reaffirms its firm commitment to the rule of law at the international level and the peaceful settlement of disputes between States.
