With Donald Trump repeating his threats to launch a full scale war with Venezuela, the US Navy continuing to blow up boats in the Caribbean, and the attempt to impose a full naval embargo on Venezuela's oil exports, now is an absolutely critical time to stand with the people of Venezuela against US aggression.
VSC is mobilising the broadest, most powerful opposition possible to this offensive, with a statement signed by over 40 parliamentarians, nine trade union general secretaries, plus prominent writers, musicians and campaigners. Last week we held a powerful rally with leading figures condemning Trump's war drive.
But the scale of the threat means we need to rapidly expand our work, with in-person events and inititiatives to mobilise opposition to the war and build maximum pressure on the British Government to condemn military aggression.
Our target is £10,000 - if 400 people give £25, that will mean we reach this target and can put all the necessary resources into growing our work.
