Dear Compañero and Comrade,
On behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, we extend our warmest and fraternal congratulations to the heroic People, Party, and Government of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, on the historic commemoration of the 77th Anniversary of its Foundation, on 9 September 1948.
This transcendental event marked the beginning of a new era of independence, dignity, and sovereignty for the DPRK, inspiring the peoples of the world in their struggle for freedom. The immortal legacy of the Great President Kim Il Sung and the Dear Leader Kim Jong Il, today carried forward under your firm and wise leadership, Dear Brother Kim Jong Un, continues to guide the Korean people in the defense of their rights, in building their own destiny, and in affirming their dignified place within the international community.
The People and Government of Nicaragua feel deeply honored to share with the DPRK a fraternal and historic friendship, forged in solidarity, mutual respect, and the common struggle for justice, peace, and the self-determination of our peoples.
We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to continue strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation, which stand as an example of unity in the face of global challenges and as an expression of the indestructible will of our nations to advance toward a more just and multipolar world.
