Remarks by Rosario, Co-President of Nicaragua,
following the Homage to Eternal Comandante Hugo Chávez Frías
on the Anniversary of his 71st Birthday

So much Excitement! What great Heart! What great Struggle! So much Fervor! So much Revolution, Revolution and Life, Revolution to go on fighting all the Battles and winning all the Victories!
Chávez has been here with us, because the Bolivarian People of Venezuela are also here, and we are fighting the same Battles, achieving the same Triumphs by the Will of God and the Strength of our Combative Peoples, of our Comandante Daniel, of Compañero Nicolás, of the Compañeras and Compañeros of the PSUV Leadership there in Venezuela.
How well I remember watching that video which, as I told Daniel, was very beautiful, but also, above everything, for all it evokes and invokes. It calls on us all to continue striving, and it evokes a Great Person among all the other Greats, as Daniel noted, as he said with such Wisdom: A Saint!
We who had the Honor and Pride of knowing and interacting with Comandante Chávez, got to know his Heart, that first of all he is in the Heart of the People and is the Heart of the People, but also that his Heart was immense, reaching out and reaching every one of us.
And every time he came to Nicaragua, he lavished Love, Tenderness, Soul-to-Soul Communication with this People which is also his own. And not only was. But is now, because he lives on here. This is Eternal Life, where the world Spirit fills us every day with Strength, with Fortitude, with Faith... The Great Spirit, that Universe where all of us are, those of us who are on this Plane of Life and those who illuminate us from other Planes, like Chávez, like Fidel, giving Strength to Life, to that Good Life we all want, to that Better Life we all want, with Well-being and Rights for our Peoples, with the Sovereignty and Respect that our Blessed and Always Dignified Patriotic Nations deserve.
Seeing all those images all of us lived through, the way we lived those moments, we know indeed that all of us are together, strengthened by everything that we have lived through, strengthened too because we have learned so much. Remembering Chávez is to live out the Courage that characterized him. Really, whenever you talked to him, you knew there and then his Bravery, Courage, Determination, Joy and Love. This is Chavez, and this is Chávez for our People.
And so, always united with the Glorious and Valiant People of Venezuela, with Nicolás, Cilia, Diosdado, Jorge, Delcy, united giving Battle, united in achieving the most formidable Victories for the Families of Our Latin America and Caribbean, of Venezuela, of Nicaragua, that Nicaragua and Venezuela deserve, and this is how We Go Onward, as Sandino said, as he says and tells us every day, Always Further On!
