Honourable Minister for Foreign Affairs
of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Today we held a meeting and dialogue with the Foreign Ministers of the United Kingdom, France and Germany, as well as with the High Representative of the European Union, in the city of Geneva.
During this meeting, the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed its deep concern about the lack of condemnation, by the three European countries, of the act of aggression perpetrated by the Zionist regime. It was emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to exercise its right to legitimate defense against said regime, with the purpose of stopping the aggression and preventing its repetition, acting with firmness and determination.
It was also stressed that Iran's nuclear program is exclusively for peaceful purposes and is under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). In this regard, it was considered that any attack on peaceful nuclear facilities constitutes a serious crime and a flagrant violation of norms
imperatives and international law. Therefore, serious concern was expressed and criticism was expressed for the failure of all three European countries and the European Union to condemn these attacks.
If the acts of aggression cease and those responsible are held accountable for their crimes, the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to consider the path of diplomacy. In this regard, I made it clear that Iran's defensive capabilities are not subject to negotiation.
We reiterate our readiness to continue the dialogue with the three European countries and with the European Union, and express our willingness to hold a new meeting in the near future.
