Initial remarks of Rosario, Nicaragua’s Co-President,
in the Midday Edition of Multinoticias Channel 4

A very good afternoon, Compañera. Good afternoon, Beloved Families of this Christian, Socialist and Solidarity inspired Nicaragua of Ours.
This Nicaragua of Ours fills us with Vigor and Glory, growing in Love every day, blessed as we are, with Concord, with the Peace that we so jealously guard.
And here we are today, May 9th when we celebrate the Victory, and the Victories, over Wars and over Fascism in the World... Victories that we must protect and consolidate, as a Human Family, so as not to allow that threat, that plague, that diabolical disease, to ravage the world again.
We are touched and proud to be present at that Great Commemoration, the Glorious Commemoration which took place in the Red Square, the Historic Red Square.
How much we have learned to admire the Heroes of the Soviet Union...! How much we learned about Human Dignity and Strength...!
How much we have grown, from afar, seeing, studying, analyzing, observing, what human quality represents when you are loyal to your Principles, to your Values, when you are able to give your Life so that those Principles and those Values prevail.
In that Red Square there were 27 million Soviet Brothers and Sisters, who made the sacrifice, who gave their lives with immense heroism, to defeat Fascism. 27 million, there they were... Their Souls were there; there was that formidable, gigantic Spirit of the Founders of the Soviet Union, and of the Heroic, Formidable, Magnificent, Victorious People, who suffered so much.
But they did it knowing that they were giving everything to defeat Nazism and Fascism that was permeating the World, as today there are those outbreaks that threaten to permeate the world as well. But they will be defeated, we do not doubt it, with the Power, with the Strength of that Infinite Spirit, that we knew, that we know, that we know in each other, because we all want Peace in the World.
That Immense Spirit that advances, that advances building another World that is not only possible, but essential... A World of Harmony, of Solidarity, Respectful Cooperation... A world measuring up not only to the Dreams, but to the Merits of the Human Family.
And our Delegation was there, we were all very happy and proud when we saw them greet the Authorities of the Russian Federation, President Vladimir Putin, the Dignitaries, Authorities, Heads of State, High Dignitaries, the High Authorities of so many Countries gathered there, in Tribute, a deserved, so well deserved Tribute, to the People of the Soviet Union, to the Relatives, to the Families severed by the fascist hatred that will Never Return!
Laureano was there, there too was Inspector General of the Army, Major General, now Colonel General with great Pride, Marvin Corrales; there was the Vice President of the National Assembly of Nicaragua, Compañera Arling Alonso; there too was the Ambassador, our Beloved Poet, Sister Alba Azucena Torres.
All of them there full of Pride representing our Heroic, Noble, Brave and also Victorious Nicaraguan People, who have managed to defeat all forms of interference, intervention, aggression, occupation, and expel the filibusters and the invaders. To expel them, with their bare hands, by tooth and nail, with the Nicaraguan Soul, the Soul of Patriotic Love, Nicaraguan by the Grace of God!
Nicaraguan Pride and Dignity were represented there, our General Sandino, we were there, paying tribute to the Soviet People, paying tribute to all those who made possible the defeat of Fascism, and the Victories. And above all knowing that, as a Human Family, we have infinite responsibility in safeguarding those Victories, and in the urgency of uniting so that fascism never returns, as we say, that plague, that hatred, that evil, that perversion which destroyed and does destroy so much.
Compañer@s, we also want to highlight the activities that were held here and the beautiful lighting. We have made decorative arrangements celebrating Victory and Victories, and to continue celebrating Victories, because every day should be about the Victories of Goodness and the Struggles for Goodness, for Concord, for Peace, for Justice and True Truths. The fight against poverty in our countries. The struggle to move forward as humanity together.
We have filled with the color Red, there the Plaza de la Revolución. We invite all Families to visit, the Families of Managua, however they want to come to visit this Honorable Tribute... Honor and Glory to those Heroes who achieved the Victories!
And well, also Compañeras and Compañeros, the Concerts that have been held there, the very beautiful Event where the Flag of the Russian Federation was unfurled by the Compañeras and Compañeros of the Mission and our Representatives together; the Messages and Speeches that were made in the Square, in the name of Humanity.
After the Act also the Concert in the Crystal Room of the Rubén Darío National Theater. And the Lighting... Bright Red, Red Fire, Sacred Fire, Eternal Flames, Red Dawn, Red Heart, Red Sacred Blood, Red so as not to forget that we owe ourselves to the Heroes and Martyrs who have given their Lives all over the World for the Liberation and the Right of our Peoples, of all the Peoples of the World, of the Human Family, to live as we deserve.
Compañer@s, we also wanted to highlight that today we have sent the Message to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, on behalf of all the Nicaraguan People, in which Daniel and I who signed this Message, say “We greet you from our Christian, Socialist, Solidarity inspired, Blessed, Forever Dignified and Free Nicaragua, for your election as Pontiff and Supreme Authority of the Catholic Church of the World.
In congratulating you, we also wish to express our aspiration that from Your High Responsibility you can contribute to promoting Peace, Rapprochement, Harmony, and the Values that the Human Family so very much needs”
We signed in the name of our Blessed, Dignified, Christian, Socialist, Solidarity inspired and Forever Sovereign Nicaragua, Forever Free, Comandante Daniel and myself. We have sent this directly to Vatican City.
