Seven years since the massacres. Seven years since the unforgivable nights and days of terror. Seven Years since the Supreme Betrayal of this Patriotic Nation and its People. Seven Years since the inexcusable attacks of Hatred, Cruelty, and Ambition.
Seven years since the attempt to kill off Peace. Seven years since those outbreaks of the most grotesque servility to the Imperialists of the Earth.
Seven years and the People fought, as always, to overcome. Seven years and we are still the Undefeated, Victorious People of our Brave Native Chieftains; of our Heroes; of Andrés, Zeledón, Sandino, Carlos, Tomás, Daniel... Seven Years and They Could Not, Nor Will They, Ever!
Seven years and peace reigns here, which is the Great Victory, the Great Triumph of all Nicaragua’s Families. To Continue, Always Further On, Overcoming Poverty, and all forms of Outrageous Misery.
Seven years after the long and insane knives of the faithless cowards, of their ignominy, opprobrium and shamelessness, burying them in their own flesh. Seven years since the delinquency and organized crime of the lackeys and pro-imperialist devils, were defeated by Nicaragua’s Great Spirit, Revolutionary and Evolutionary, Brave and Dignified, In Love with Concord and our Right to Work in Security, Peace, and Well-Being. That Great Spirit prevailed over the massacre, planned, financed and directed by Evil.
Seven Years after the Desecration and Brutal Perversion... And all the depraved ones who tried to impose confusion and viciousness, failed miserably. They were defeated by the Faith, Hope and Love of a Christian, Revolutionary, Fraternal and Solicarity inspired People. A Generous and Kind People, with Ideas and Practices of Justice and Peace, the Teachings of Christ Jesus, Redeemer of the World. The wicked were defeated, because God is with us.
Seven years after the bestiality, organized and directed and imposed too from some apparent Temples, by demons, sacrilegious fools in the service of Hell, but today we live in the Country we all want, that we all deserve and that we all defend, our Nicaragua Forever Free and Blessed, Blessed with the Strength of Love, that can do Everything, and overcome Everything.
Seven years after Satan retreated before the Strength and the Ways of True Christianity, of Socialism, of Brother and Sisterhood and Solidarity.
Seven years after the ignominy, the United People who have never been defeated, are moving forward, proclaiming that Nicaragua is Noble, Free, Dignified, Sovereign, Joyful and full of Light.
The Darkest Time was indeed darker, but only because the Day of all Glories came, and is with us, the Day all Graces and all Victories. This Day. This Time. This History, which we Nicaraguans are living together because with our Sacred Blood we have written and continue to write the Designs and Glory of Peace, Peace, Peace.
Now, given their resounding defeat, their visible Misery, disarmed and in retreat before Love, they twist and writhe, persecuted by their own shadows and obscurity, the cowards, vandals of tranquility, criminals, servile perverts, beyond God's Forgiveness, bereft of God's Forgiveness, with neither God's Forgiveness, nor that of this People, there they are, They Could Not Prevail, And They Never Will!
Long live Sandino! Long live Sandino! Long live Sandino!
Long live the Heroic and Victorious People of Nicaragua!
Long live the Sandinista Front... Long live the Revolution!
Long live Daniel!
The People, of Hope, Dreams and armed with Love, will never be defeated!
On this First of April, seven years on, here we are, proud, victorious, knowing that we Go Always Further On, that the splendid Sun of our Nicaragua shines out for everyone. Because Peace shines beautifully in our Sky and on our Soil, and because together, All of Us Together, reject any form of arbitrariness, of violence, and We Go Onward proclaiming Peace and Well-being, Peace and Well-Being, Peace and Well-being, for all Nicaragua’s Families.
Compañer@s, a law is pending which was approved today, declaring April the Month of the People who defend Peace. The National Assembly has declared April as the Month of the Victorious, Glorious, Honorable People who defend Peace.
And throughout our Nicaragua we have woken to the Reveilles, to Joy, to Music, to the Song of Victories, and this afternoon we will march throughout the Country, thanking God, the God of All Triumphs, because We are Going Onward, proclaiming that Nicaragua is made of Vigor and Glory, made to live in Love, in Tranquility, in Security, in Work and Prosperity.
Love at its Greatest, Love for Nicaragua, Love, Love, Love, this is how we make our way and this is how we continue to Overcome. A People that knows how to fight, a People that knows how to overcome...!
We have announcements, like the announcements everyday and we will make them known tomorrow so as to abide with this Message, which is a Message of Light, Life and Truth, as Darío said, as Sandino said, as Darío and Sandino say, as the People say: United, They will Never be Defeated!
