APRIL, A PEOPLE DEFENDING PEACE
Today, in accordance with instructions of the Presidency of the Republic, we unanimously approved the Law Declaring “April, A People Defending Peace”, as a just recognition of the historic struggle and courage of all Nicaraguans who have managed to confront aggressors and traitors to our Patriotic Nation.
This approval recognizes the leading role of this People which has been abe to consolidate Peace as an asset beyond price, and as the fundamental pillar on which is built the future of all the sons and daughters of this Free, Dignified and Sovereign Nicaragua.
We will celebrate the month of “April, A People Defending Peace" every year with the contagious joy of Nicaragua’s families, deepening their values, attitudes and behaviors so as to strengthen the Culture of Peace, respect, unity and love for our Patriotic Nation.
