As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua, we extend our Feelings of Sorrow and Solidarity at the death of the former President of El Salvador, resident in Nicaragua, Carlos Mauricio Funes Cartagena.
We are accompanying their Relatives, Compañeras, Compañeros and Friends, who have decided to perform the Funeral Rites in Nicaragua. Our thanks go to the Government of El Salvador, which at all times made clear its humanitarian disposition and solidarity towards the relatives of Brother Mauricio Funes.
Before the physical departure of this Central American Compañero, our respectful and sincere expression of Brother and Sisterhood in this our Region where we continue to work so as to consolidate Peace and Well-being, with an absolute willingness to strengthen our ties of Central American Integration.
Our embrace to the children, grandchildren, compañeros, compañeras his relatives, as well as the compañeros, compañeras friends of former President Mauricio Funes.
May the peace of eternal life be with him.
