1) We decreased maternal mortality by 79.8%, going from 104 maternal deaths in 2006 to 21 in 2024.
2) We reduced infant mortality by 52.6%, going from 1,916 children under the age of 1 who died in 2006 to 908 in 2024.
3) We decreased neonatal mortality by 62.5%, going from 1,352 newborns who died in 2006 to 507 in 2024.
4) We reduced chronic malnutrition in children under 5, going from 21.7% in 2006 to 4.5% in 2024.
5) We reduced mortality from cervical cancer by 14.4%, going from 228 women who died from cervical cancer in 2006 to 195 in 2024.
6) We reduced mother-to-child transmission of HIV by 98%; in 2006 56 children were infected and in 2024 only 1 child was infected.
7) We increased vaccination coverage from 88% in 2006 to 95% in 2024.
8) We increased the services provided to the population, going from 8,503,987 in 2006 to 35,956,696 services in 2024.
9) In 2024, we house 72,161 pregnant women in Maternity Shelters, over-complying with the established goal by 8.4%.
10) In 2024, we provide 418,963 attentions in natural medicine for an over compliance of 15.4% of the established goal.
11) In 2024, we made 422,465 visits to people with disability through the "Everyone has a Voice Program", over fulfilling the goal by 2.5%.
12) In 2024, we performed 111,590 CAT scans and 22,249 MRIs, unprecedented numbers unimaginable without the Revolution.
13) In 2024, we held 29,700 health fairs, providing 6.9 million services.
14) Since March 2021, when the first fetal surgery was performed, to 2024, we have performed 483 Fetal Surgeries. Nicaragua is the only country in Central America that performs this type of surgery for free in the Public Health System.
15) Since 2007, "Operation Miracle” was launched, allowing hundreds of thousands of Nicaraguans to enjoy our beautiful "Golden Sun", since its inception in 2007 until 2024, 346,162 ophthalmological surgeries of Pterygium and Cataracts have been performed.
16) In 2024, we conducted 2,163 Nuclear Medicine sessions for the treatment of cancer and hyperthyroidism; of which 1,911 were provided to uninsured patients and 252 to insured patients.
17) In 2024, we performed 40,197 radiotherapy sessions for the care of cancer patients, of which 30,261 were performed on uninsured patients and 9,936 on insured patients.
18) In 2024, we performed 50 heart surgeries, of which 23 were to uninsured patients and 27 to insured patients.
19) In 2024, we performed 1,163,467 Dialysis and Hemodialysis sessions, of which 460,141 were provided to uninsured patients and 622,378 to insured patients, in contrast with the 80,948 were performed in the private sub-sector.
20) In 2024, we performed 31,478 chemotherapy sessions, of which 18,334 were performed on uninsured patients, 12,810 on insured patients and 334 on patients in the private sub-sector.
21) In 2024, we have inserted 251 Pacemakers, in 2006 only 7 Pacemakers were inserted.
22) In 2024, we held 31 Mega Health Fairs (Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Orthopedics and Neurosurgery), providing 181,994 specialized services.
23) We increased the number of health workers by 77%, going from 22,083 in 2006 to 38,984 in 2024.
