Dear Comrade General Secretary Mapaila,
On behalf of the Sandinista Front for National Liberation and the Nicaraguan people, we wish to convey our fraternal and revolutionary greetings to the Historic South African Communist Party and the Heroic South African People, with our best wishes for success on the occasion of the Fifth Special National Congress of the South African Communist Party (SACP).
The theme "Consolidate and Build a Socialist Movement of the Workers and the Poor", under which this important Congress is organized, is in line with the daily work of the revolutionary parties and movements of the world to fight against poverty, social inequalities and in defense of our cultures, independence, national sovereignty and self-determination.
Our struggles and victories as Free Peoples, as Revolutionary Parties, represent a permanent commitment in favor of Peace and Well-being, in a world increasingly besieged by the darkest forces of imperialism, neocolonialism and neofascism.

The Sandinista Front for National Liberation will continue to be committed to the struggles of the Sovereign Peoples who resist, fight and defeat the enemies of humanity every day.
On this occasion, we reiterate the historic bonds of struggle that unite our Peoples and Parties. We express our fraternal greetings to all the Revolutionary Comrades of South Africa and to the leaders of the Brotherly South African Communist Party (SACP).
