MESSAGE FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF RECONCILIATION
AND NATIONAL UNITY OF THE REPUBLIC OF NICARAGUA
AT THE XXIV POLITICAL COUNCIL OF THE BOLIVARIAN ALLIANCE
FOR THE PEOPLES OF OUR AMERICA - PEOPLES' TRADE TREATY (ALBA-TCP)

Theme: Defending the independence, sovereignty, self-determination and identity of the countries of the Alliance against attempts at political, economic and digital domination.
NicaDear Friends, Brothers and Sisters,
1. Receive revolutionary greetings and the special affection of our President Comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra and our Vice President, Compañera Rosario Murillo.
2. Allow me to offer our Recognition and Gratitude to the Sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for her continued leadership in our Combative Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America.
3. The Venezuela of Bolívar, of Chávez, of our Brother, Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, who together with his Heroic People continues to face victoriously all the aggressions and destabilizations of the usual imperialist aggressors.
4. Our greeting to the Always Combative, Steadfast and Solidarity inspired Sister Republic of Cuba. The Cuba of Fidel, of Raúl, of Díaz-Canel, of the Heroic and Victorious Cuban People.
5. Our greetings to the Brothers and Sisters of the Caribbean Peoples represented here, Grenada, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Our embrace to always combative Bolivia.
6. Compañeros and Compañeras. Humanity is passing through critical moments. Moments of the birth of a New History, of the emergence of a New World Order that is more Just, more Collective, more Supportive. And like all childbirth, the emergence of this New World Order, Multipolar, without hegemonies being imposed, is hard, it is difficult, it is painful. These are also dangerous times for humanity.
7. These are moments when the Dignified, Free, Sovereign Peoples of the World are faced with old and new forms of aggression.
8. The rifles and gunboats of the past are being reborn today in new forms of aggression, euphemistically called sanctions.
These illegal coercive measures are nothing but an update of the old Monroe Doctrine and of gunboat diplomacy.
9. These are the same military interventions and the same interferences perpetrated by the Yankee Empire in the 19th and 20th century against all our Dignified Peoples who have fought for independence and self-determination and who continue to defend our Paths, our Cultures, our Projects and Ways of Life.
10. Our militant Solidarity with our Sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, besieged, coveted and attacked.
11. A Noble People whose only sin has been to have a Dignified Voice and to share with the poorest and neediest what Almighty God has given them by Nature. A People, a Revolution committed to fighting and defending just causes in our Region and in the World.
12. A Revolution that demonstrated to the world a clear and decisive popular victory, in the face of the destabilizing collusion of the dark forces of Empire, its Northern accomplices and local idolaters.
Since when do Dignified, Victorious Peoples have to present papers or acts certifying their overwhelming popular victory to self-appointed Proconsuls?
Empires need to learn that Revolutions are accountable only to their Peoples. The Bolivarian Revolution, through its legitimate institutions and in a sovereign and unquestionable way, has presented the Victorious Results of its Electoral Contest to its People.
13. Our Solidarity inspired, militant embrace for our Sister Republic of Cuba, confronting over more than six decades the barbarism of the blockade, along with the imperial arrogance seeking to designate the country as a promoter of terrorism, when Cuba is one of the most loving nations in Defense of Peace, a Promoter of Peaceful Understanding, whose immense Solidarity and Love of Neighbors is recognized by Peoples the whole World over.
14. Our Brother and Sister Peoples of the Caribbean, who were born in struggle since they were persecuted and decimated in their own lands or else forcibly uprooted from their communities in Africa and brought to these lands.
Attacked and threatened by financial measures, they have remained steadfast in ALBA, which, given the difficult conditions they face, shows Fighting Spirit and Dignity that deserves to be recognized in a special way.
15. In the face of all these threats, the existence of the Bolivarian Alliance remains vital to safeguard Peace and to ensuring the Voice of Dignity is heard loud and clear in Our Latin America and the Caribbean.
16. ALBA is the noblest project that has been installed in all our history. A Project that was born to give voice and promote the Welfare of the impoverished, with no conditions. A Project full of Love, Solidarity and Complementarity which remains today a fundamental reference of Struggle, Justice and Solidarity.
17. Our Nicaragua, Blessed and Forever Free. The Nicaragua of Sandino, the Nicaragua of the Sandinista Popular Revolution, reaffirms today its unchanging commitment to Just Causes and to the Struggle against imperial impositions.
18. We inherited a history of struggle from our Ancestors. We were born as a Country fighting for our Independence and Self-determination and we will continue faithful to that Heritage striving for a Just World.
19. We reaffirm today that the Dark Forces of the Earth have no Right whatsoever over our Processes, Ways and Paths of Light, Life and Truth.
