Initial remarks by Rosario, Vice President of Nicaragua,
in her address for the Midday Edition of Multinoticias on Channel 4

A very good afternoon, Compañera. And a very good afternoon to the Families of Nicaragua, Beloved Families, full of the Dignity and Pride of being, of belonging and of living out our Principles and Values, with Identity, with Sovereignty, Dignity and National Decorum, as our General Sandino said.
Every day, Compañeras and Compañeros, we wake up to the familiar realities and unrealities, all too well known, simply repeating themselves, as if with the enthusiasm of crickets, to sound or pretend to sound like something they are not, just making faces as we say in good Nicaraguan, sounding off, trying to make a false impression out of dishonorable opportunism, making a platform of indignity and disgrace, ending up as a shame for our Peoples, who are Worthy and Forever Free.
What horror, what decrepitude, what stupidity to end up being the shame of the Peoples...! What a curse buries those specimens, Women and Men who deafen, darken and even dirty the Horizon of Dignity that we are, and that we deserve!
What jerks they are... What an exhibition they make of themselves, when they cannot even sound a note, but still want to be the majors and majorettes of imaginary parades, with neither Nation, nor Honor, nor Glory...! Shameless descendants of William Walker, against whom we have proven our commitment to the Glory of San Jacinto and the Stone of Andrés!
How much spiritual slavery in such people, how much contempt they have for their own History and for History itself...! How much eagerness to be but not to be, the non-being of those who can only cry out like insufferable echos, servants of those who still think of themselves as Masters, still believe and dare to think they are Masters both of us and of our Worlds.
The Universe responds these kinds of bugs by ignoring them all... The condemnation of our Patriotic Peoples and Communities responds to them all, that we do not serve the interests of other peoples... our Soul is not one of servitude... we are not, have not been, nor will we ever be the slaves of Capitalism, Imperialism, Colonialism, Neocolonialism, savage, atrocious, in the perverse sense and nonsense that nourishes those who take them as their example, that serve them, to the ever greater indignity of each of those choirs of frogs, snakes and toads.
Don't bother with those empty husks, never mind that rubbish piled up without stature, for garbage has no stature, whereas to the Heroes, all our Pride, to the Heroes of this Dignified, Strong and increasingly aware America-Caribbean of ours, that we are all one patriotic Nation, all of us who believe in the Right to Peace, to Sovereignty, to the Future... So never mind the empty husks, the garbage without stature, instead to our Heroes all Honor, such that along our Paths of Dignity, Sovereignty, Peace and Well-Being, we pay them Homage daily, while our opprobrium sinks without trace those with neither Race, nor Class, nor Heart.
That's how it is, we see them as lackluster shades, attempting a sign language they don't even understand, because they barely exist, they belong nowhere, and too, because they are merely the grimaces that they ape, like servants, like slaves, utterly unworthy.
And speaking of indignity, yesterday we responded, as our Blessed, Ever Dignified and Forever Free Nicaragua, to the European Union, clarifying to those Gentlemen and Ladies that Nicaragua is a Country and a patriotic Nation, Blessed, Free and Sovereign, and thus, it is not a Colony, nor does it receive or obey orders from any Country in the World.
The Nicaraguan authorities' decisions are made based on the Constitution of the Republic, and the Laws that, as an Independent Country and People, govern the operation of our sovereign institutions.
We remind the gentlemen and ladies of the European Union that the History on which your Countries are based is one of atrocities and crimes against humanity, committed in the voracious desire to subjugate Peoples, to steal their Riches, their Natural and Cultural Heritage and the Supreme Intelligence of the World's Continents.
A visit to Europe's museums is enough to see how proud you are of the savagery, the barbarism, the immorality with which you “conquered” Countries and Peoples from whom you took everything, in exchange for nothing.
The genocide being committed every day in Gaza is just a pale reflection of the Crusades and bloody Conquests of your Empires, of the Colonizers and Neo-Colonialists who still, boldly, try to dictate rules, to a World which not only ignores you, but condemns you.
Enough of interference, of falsehoods, distortions and abuses in the name of a supposed but theatrical “democracy” bathed in the blood, misery, sweat and tears of the territories where you settled to kill, exterminate and loot.
Comply, European gentlemen and ladies, with respect for the Models and Ways of Life of Brave, Free Peoples, who strongly reject the hypocrisy in your interventionist voices, and who condemn you every day, for your reprehensible history of ignominy.
We are concerned that the legitimate demands of our Peoples have not been listened to, much less fulfilled, by all your phony countries, boldly, shamelessly, and arrogantly believing yourselves masters, when all you represent is the worst and most sacrilegious of the Human Species.
That is our reply to these European gentlemen and ladies who sit there covered in the blood of Humanity... the blood and sweat, the suffering and tears, the atrocities and crimes without end. To them we say, You are responsible for crimes against humanity for which we condemn you every single day.
