On National Student's Day, we relive the Heroism of Youth, the Sublime Courage of Mauricio Martínez, Sergio Saldaña, José Rubí, Erick Ramírez, young men who inspired all Nicaragua's young people to fight with courage and conviction for a Free Nation like the one we have today.
These students, martyred by the sinister Somoza tyranny, are the Symbol and Essence of that Youth, Nicaragua's National Heritage, which has pulsated and vibrates always with the Courage of those who “do not fear the night”, and the Sacrosanct Flame of Patriotic Love.
Cowardice has no country. Courage belongs to those who dream of throwing the Stone of Andrés, the Portentous Hand of so very many Combative Young People of every era, prepared to Overcome, to Live Conquering and Transcending Death.
Students, Young People, who make their Nation and their Way as they go, are in every Heart of our Blessed Nicaragua, remembering that our Nation shines in all its splendor via the inalienable Pride and Honor of possessing of our own Land, being Protagonists and Reapers of the Future.
For all the Students who gave their Lives, in Light and Truth, our Sovereign, Blessed Nation makes that claim, calling on us to build and defend Peace, Well-being and Rights, our Undying Tribute, Nicaragua's Triumphant Banners and Emblems, full of Dignity, Revolutionary and Free.
Young People, Students are the National Heritage of Nicaragua, We Do Not Sell Out, Nor Do We Surrender. We are a land of the Brave. We are a Nation of Free Men and Women. While Cowardice and Treachery have no Nation.
The Revolution is a Source of Life and Energy. The Revolution is the Eternal Strength of the Nicaragua's People and Youth. The Revolution is the Victory of National Decorum and Sovereignty.
The Revolution is Sandino, it is the FSLN, it is Christian, Socialist and Solidarity inspired Love. The Young People who make Revolution and Evolution are a Perpetual Light, a Banner and a Proclamation of Honor and Glory, of Hope, Conscience, Coherence and Faith.
Long live the Students, the Sunshine of our Joy!
Long live Nicaragua's Courage, by the Grace of God!
