FOR PEACE IN PALESTINE AND THE REGION
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Nicaraguan People-President has learned about the new Road Map proposal, presented by the President of the United States, Mr. Joe Biden, seeking to work for an Agreement to achieve Peace in Palestine.
We have also learned of the support of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the State of Qatar for this Road Map, one we have deeply analyzed and which we consider a good contribution to the negotiations between Israel and Hamas with the aim of reaching solutions for the Palestinian People, for the families of Gaza and too for those held prisoner and their relatives.
This Agreement also establishes the possibility of reaching consensus for a permanent ceasefire that will bring Peace to all that People and the Region.
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua’s People -President recognizes the effort reflected in this proposal and trusts in the successful work of the Delegations and Sponsors, so that all of us will able to see the necessary, absolutely essential and immediate end to a war that has cost such a great deal.
We fully support these efforts, salute the countries making the proposal and their participating Delegations, trusting in the Wisdom, Heart and Reason involved in this Constructive Initiative for the Common Good.
As always, we demand Respect and Peace for the Palestinian People and for all the World’s Peoples.
