Dear Brother,
As this coming April 18 commemorates the 44th Anniversary of Zimbabwe's Independence, we wish to express on behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and on our own behalf, our warmest congratulations to You, your Government, and the People of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
With great joy we remember this memorable date, where we had the honor of being present with the Zimbabwean People, forging a history of struggle that we share in the defense of our Freedom, Independence, and Development.
We reiterate our unwavering solidarity with the Republic of Zimbabwe and its heroic people, who continue to face with dignity the corrosive and illegal unilateral coercive measures imposed for so long by the colonialist and neocolonialist West.
We also reaffirm our invariable commitment to continue strengthening the Ties of Brotherhood, Solidarity and Cooperation that unite our Peoples and Governments.
