Sandino is Nicaragua, he embodies the Ideals, the Values and the Spiritual Strength of Nicaragua’s People. Sandino has transcended, and transcends, all the Dimensions of our human limitations and ability to learn and to attain other Planes of Life in answer to the Calls of Providence and its deeply Spiritual, Supernatural, Formidable, Legendary Missions, the Forging of Light, of Life and Truth.
It is only possible to understand the splendid magnitude of Sandino by seeing him as an Enlightened Being, a Standard-Bearer of the Sublime, a Bearer of Righteous Messages, a Soldier of profound Truths, a Combatant willing and fully committed to every Battle, a Hero in every enduring Struggle.
Sandino, a Nica from Niquinohomo, a Worker, a Farm Worker, a humble Peasant, subjugated to the absurd rigors of an opprobrious and humiliating Culture that reduced the Human Person to a child, dividing children between legitimate and illegitimate, “natural”.
Sandino, who comes, as he himself said, from the bosom of the oppressed, grew because he was able to listen to the vocation of the Spirit, to the Providence that chose and appointed him to carry out formidable Feats. A humble man, a Nicaraguan Nica, receiving with Valor, with Courage, with Honor, the Sacred Mission that he answered without hesitation, the Sacred Mission of redeeming his Nation from ignominious, shameful betrayal, and the worst shame of all, namely the servitude of handing the Nation over to the Imperial Powers, the very ones who trampled, who sullied, our Sacred Nicaraguan Land.
Sandino, who rises above human meanness, over all the ruination, over all the selfishness, over all the crimes committed against his People, against us, his People, and which the enraged champions of servility, hatred and wretchedness still intend to commit,.
Sandino, rising above mediocrity, gathers together the Symbols, Flags and Banners of all the vigorous anti-colonialist and anti-imperialist struggles, which have been gallantly waged, both in Nicaragua and by so many other Peoples of the World, wise, brave, consistent, determined to insist on their usurped Rights.
Sandino, who is Diriangén, Nicarao, Adiact... Sandino, who is Andrés Castro and José Dolores Estrada... Sandino, who is Benjamin Zeledon... Sandino, who is Carlos Fonseca, Tomás Borge, Daniel, and the hundreds of thousands of Heroic Nicaraguans who have patriotically defended our Territory, and who, embodying their Ideals and Spiritual Resources, Continue, as We Continue, Onward, Always Further On, with Daniel, with the Sandinista Front for National Liberation, with everyone who knows how to love Nicaragua, in its Greatness of Soul and its Decision to be a Blessed and Free Nation.
We are all Sandino, and Sandino is all of us.
In the face of the madness, the irrationality, the extreme selfishness, the bloodthirsty unreason of the powerful who believe they own the World, Nicaragua gives an exemplary experience of National Dignity and Sovereignty, of Courage and Honor and Glory. Nicaragua has been able to write great Pages in the History of Revolutionary and Evolutionary Struggles, and has known how, through the Humility and Generosity of Mystical and Epic Sense of Purpose, to continue with Sandino, with Carlos, with all our Heroes, with Tomás, with Daniel, showing ourselves, showing the World, the undefeated and invincible Pride of our Cause, Sandinista, Socialist, Christian and in Solidarity, which is the Cause of Freedom, of Justice, the Cause of Love.
Sandino Lives, the Struggles Continue, the whole World is already pulsating to New Times, affirming Independence, Sovereignty, Rights, Justice and Peace.
Today, February 21st, 90 Years after his Birth into Eternity, Sandino’s Heroic Strength, his Prophetic Mission, his Conviction and Firmness, his Consistency, his knowing how to Be and to Live, facing up to the World, challenging with Victorious Spiritual Energy, offenses and grievances, outrages and affronts, Sandino is transcendent, here with us, inspiring and strengthening us with his exemplary luminosity, with his Love that everything can be done, and everything can be overcome.
Sandino is Nicaragua!

We are the Liberation, the Redemption of Justice, the Right to live quietly, safely, in Peace, in our own Land, as a Family, working and prospering.
No denials. No cowardice. No giving in. No wasted effort. No wavering. No relaxing. With the Courage of those in tune with the symphonies of the Spirit, of Providence, of the Universe, We are going Onward, building together a Future to defend, just as we defend and treasure Peace, Harmony, and the growing Dignity of this Great People, of Rubén Darío, of Benjamín Zeledón, of Augusto Sandino, of Daniel, of the Sandinista Front for National Liberation.
