AGM/Solidarity Event
A reminder that the AGMs of NSCAG and our sister organisation NSC will take place on Saturday 15 July in London. The timetable for the day will be as follows: - NSCAG AGM 11.30 – 12.15 NSC AGM 12.30 – 13.30 Solidarity event 14.30 – 16.30. If you would like to attend either of the AGMs, please let us know no later than one week in advance (preferably earlier) by emailing nscag@nicaraguasc.org.uk. AGM papers will only be sent to those who have registered. The AGMs and the solidarity event will take place at our new premises – c/o Space 4, 113-115 Fonthill Road, London N4 3HH. “The View from the Ground: What We Experienced in Nicaragua in 2018” with Becca Renk, Nils McCune, Coleen Littlejohn, and John Perry who all lived through the 2018 coup attempt. Speakers described their experiences and how that has affected their lives. Webinar held on 28 May – link here
On June 3, the International People's Tribunal on U.S. Imperialism: Sanctions, Blockades, Coercive Economic Measures hosted its hearing on Nicaragua and sanctions targeting the people of Nicaragua. Watch in English here

Trade Union Conferences
We will have a stall at the Unite Rules and Policy Conferences, 9-14 July, so hope that Unite members attending the conferences will come and say hello! We have some new resource material and lots of goodies to sell, including Nicaraguan coffee, chocolate and jewellery.
Celebrate the 44th Anniversary of the Nicaraguan Revolution! 19
July this year will mark the 44th anniversary of the Nicaraguan Revolution. If you’d be interested in going to Nicaragua to join in the celebrations, two delegations are being organised by partner organisations to coincide with the event. For further details see here.
