A very good afternoon, Compañera. Good afternoon, beloved Families... Good afternoon! At the gates of the Weekend, as we say every Friday, where the Joy of Living in Peace vibrates tremendously.
This our Nicaragua is Blessed with that Joy and Harmony which allow us to live making our way along Paths of Glories and Victories.
We have arrived at Friday opening the doors for a great Weekend, to celebrate the Joy and Peace that we have in our Blessed Nicaragua and which belongs to us, by History, by Memory, and the irreversible and powerful Tradition of Faith and permanent Cry to the Father of All, to the God of All Triumphs, of Justice, of Truth, of Brother and Sisterhood.
This Weekend, according to what we have counted, we will reach almost 100,000 activities, planned and programmed throughout our Sacred Geography. And we know that this is only possible, because there is Peace, because there is Love, because there is Unity, because there is Dignity, because there are Family and Community Values.
As always, we know that nothing moves without God's Will, and it is God's Will that we live peacefully, safely, joyfully, reinforcing the Paths of Peace, Unity and Well-being, every day, for all Nicaraguan Families.
Yesterday we completed our Third National Protection Exercise, and it was excellent, almost 2 million participating, or more. We are going to send the details via the Media because we are still working on them. But we are proud of how we have been learning and undertaking, every day, the Duty of protecting ourselves and above all of protecting Life under all circumstances.
Yesterday we also held our very important Meeting with more than 14 Political Parties and more than 3 Movements and Associations. The type of Meeting which affirms that in this Nicaragua We Have A Nation and that there are Patriots who know how to love Nicaragua and be consistent with the Ideals and Values of this Our Blessed Patriotic Nation.
A Spirit of great Dignity was expressed in each of the 16 speeches, and we ratified our Awareness and Conduct of National Sovereignty... Attitude, Conscience, Conduct, which allow us to consolidate the Principles and Foundations of a Free, Christian, Socialist, Solidarity inspired Nation.
We are going onward, we know it, and We are Going Onward with the Strength of the Soul, of the Brave, Magnificent Spirit, with the Powerful Faith in this Nicaragua of Everyone... Our Prodigious and Loyal Nicaragua, a Nicaragua Loyal to ourselves, Loyal to itself, and to all the Human Community. Faithful, of course, to our History, to our Memory and, above all, Faithful to those who have given the best of themselves, so that we may live as Honest, Honorable, Proud and Free Citizens.
This morning the Second Meeting of the National Commission for Sovereign Constitutional Reforms was held with Diplomats and Heads of Mission accredited to our Nicaragua. It was a broad meeting and a direct, respectful communication about our tours, these visits we have been making, cultivating Peace and our Rights as Working Families, Noble, and Faithful to this Nation of Everyone.
Nicaragua, as our Darío rightly said, is made of Vigor and Glory, and it is made to live, first of all to receive with gratitude, and then to live the Blessings and Miracles that God disposes, to live in Radiant Harmony and on Paths of more Glories and Victories in our Peaceful, Safe, Capable Coexistence... Roads, Routes and Paths of our own Democracy, created and consolidated with so much Holy Blood, Blessed Nicaraguan Blood that today supports these Paths of Freedom, Dignity, Fraternity.
We are moving onward, talking, listening, communicating, so that disunity never returns, but rather Unity... a Unity that is not uniformity, of course; our Unity that is not uniformity, but a criterion, the Blessing of growing Conscience to reign, as Jesus reigns forever.
Thank you very much to the Parties and Movements that took part yesterday as Dignified Nicaraguans, Nicaraguans who love Peace and who cultivate the Right of Everyone to Live Better... Thanks also to the Diplomats and Heads of Mission who were present with great courtesy and attention at this Second Meeting we have held with them, and we expect to continue seeing each other, to continue talking, to continue, above all, receiving the respect of the Diplomatic Community for the Great People of our Nicaragua.
We are also in Ometepe today with the Expo Fair No. 17... There is everything there, and for everyone! There is everything in terms of unique and original beauties, such as the Majesty of our two Volcanoes, La Concepción and Las Maderas, as our Great Lake of Nicaragua, our Sweet Sea.
All this was part of the prophetic legends, the prophetic visions of our Native Peoples, about the value and meaning of our Heritages that say so much about what our Nicaragua is, about who we are, and about the Strength to continue creating together the best outcomes and destinations for Good Living which, I say again, we deserve so much.
Ometepe is the Promise in the codices of our Native Peoples, The Promise of new Harmonies and Times, like these Vigorous and Victorious Seasons which we are passing through today.
We also welcome the Meetings and Encounters that our Ministers, Jaime, Valdrack and Elaine, continue to hold in New York with Representatives of Peoples and Governments, drawing closer and closer in wise, lucid, necessary links, to sow, cultivate and realize the Right of our Peoples to live in Peace, in Complementarity, on Paths of Development.
Tomorrow Saturday, between 12 noon and one o'clock in the afternoon, Nicaraguan time, our Minister Valdrack will be presenting the Message of our People and Government, of the Families President of this Blessed Nicaragua, before the 81st General Assembly of the UN and we will be very attentive.
Today in the afternoon, the Special Commission of the National Assembly and the Supreme Electoral Council is holding the “We Have a Nation” Consultation with the People President of Chinandega, Corinto and El Realejo, this will be in Chinandega; then we have, tomorrow Saturday, two Sessions: Chichigalpa and Posoltega, in Chichigalpa, and in the afternoon, El Viejo and Puerto Morazán, both in El Viejo. On Sunday morning, San Francisco del Norte, the Saints, the Five Saints, San Francisco del Norte, San Pedro del Norte, Santo Tomás del Norte, and Cinco Pinos, this in Cinco Pinos, and in the afternoon, Somotillo and Villanueva, in Somotillo.
We are always aware through our True Truths Communications Media, of the magnificent, admirable, enviable eloquence of our People, of the Families, the Families President, the Women President, the Men and the Youth President, and the Families everywhere, in each of these Acts in which we are applying and developing our Sovereign Democracy.
What a beauty, we must say, what overflowing Faith, on the Altars and in the Processions, displayed by the local people of Matagalpa and Leon. In León the Procession entered at midnight and in those Pilgrimage walks of Love we put ourselves under the Protection of the Virgin of Mercy, Our Mother, in that Merciful Invocation that gathers us, with candles, songs and palms, celebrating Love, our Origin, and also, of course, our permanent Destiny.
We continue in the sustained Prayer of that Nicaraguan Tradition which raises along with our Flags, White-blue, Black-red, multicolored flowers and festive fireworks in the Joy of being true Families, true Nicaraguans, full of integrity and patriotism, in the Joy of embracing each other as Homes and Communities of Faith and Future... Families of the Future!
