MESSAGE FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF RECONCILIATION AND NATIONAL UNITY
AT THE SIGNING CEREMONY OF THE "INTEGRAL COOPERATION PROGRAM
BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF NICARAGUA"

Brother Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran;
Government officials, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran;
Comrade Isaac Lenin Bravo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nicaragua in the Islamic Republic of Iran;
Friends all;
1. The Government of Nicaragua appreciates the spirit of friendship, solidarity and cooperation of the Government and People of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Reciprocal spirit and feelings of the People of Nicaragua, of the Comrade President of Nicaragua, Comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Comrade Vice President, Rosario Murillo, who convey their fraternal greetings of solidarity.
2. We continue with our concrete and sustained steps in strengthening our relations, bilateral and multilateral exchanges and with the signing today of the "Comprehensive Cooperation Program between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua,” it is valid that we congratulate each other on behalf of our countries, for the strengthening and progress of our relations.
3. The objective of the instrument that we are signing today, is to continue consolidating our friendship and relations of cooperation based on the principles of equality and mutual respect; especially in the fields of agriculture-livestock, energy-minerals, economic-commercial, scientific-technological; banking-financial and insurance, defense and security, health and sanitation, investment and other areas of mutual interest.
4. With the signing of this Bilateral Comprehensive Cooperation Program, our countries have signed so far this year, 14 instruments for the strengthening of bilateral relations, in areas of: Sister City Agreements, Pharmaceutical Cooperation, Sanitary Requirements for Importation of Beef, Plant Protection and Quarantine, Cooperation between Universities, Laboratories, Development of Bilateral Cooperation, Oil, Scientific-Research, Cultural-Artistic and Agricultural Cooperation.
5. Two sister Revolutions that walk upon paths of Common Good, of multipolarity, of victorious defense against the imperialist aggressors; convinced that we will continue working together, progressively strengthening the historic and fraternal bonds of brotherhood, solidarity, investment and cooperation that unite both our Peoples and Governments.
