Numerous videos have been posted exposing the false international media campaign about the abortive violent opposition protest on March 16th. Here are a few showing how both opposition delinquents, local channel 10 reporters and CNN Español's own journalists tried to cover up the show they were trying to fabricate using a small group of opposition supporters. Other videos show opposition supporters attacking people at the Metrocentro mall and the opposition Canal 10 reporting team faking cowering in apparent fear of police opening fire just yards from a group of opposition activists and paid delinquents sitting chatting in complete tranquility.
The events of last March 16th highlight the way the opposition stage public events exclusively for foreign consumption aided and abetted by cynical foreign news media at every level. The two main opposition propaganda techniques are firstly to make totally false claims of violent repression backed up by fake photographs and bogus testimony and secondly to mass reproduce acted out scenes of fear and distress. The key to the success of these cynical techniues is systematic suppression of factual reporting/coverage by their international corporate and alternative media accomplices.

maybe a dozen opposition supporters who then attacked Hurtado to stop him filiming their show.
