Results in several departments have still to be confirmed on the Consejo Supremo Electoral web site. La Primerísima and other sites are reporting that various recounts and challenges from all parties, including the FSLN have led to the revision of results in Masaya, Juigalpa and perhaps Jinotega too. Some reports suggest that the FSLN won Masaya and Juigalpa and perhaps Jinotega as well - thus deepening the electoral rout of the Liberal opposition.

Prensa Latina is reporting that the PLC has announced it will demand the annulment of all the results announced so far. This looks like another gambit to try and force the FSLN to negotiate an undemocratic deal permitting the PLC to hang on to as much power as possible despite their humiliating defeat.
